Human Rights Watch
Imagine a world where your direct environment meant you were under brutal attack physically, mentally, socially and in every other way, on a daily basis…just because you are a woman. No one deserves to live like this.
This section will share things happening in the world that we should all at least be aware of and try to help change in small or big ways. There are some extremely unpleasant things going on in countries where certain targeted groups of innocent people are totally helpless, so imagine living under circumstances where you aren’t just hearing about it or seeing it, but experiencing it. We all have to step outside of our comfort zones, our cushioned and protected worlds, to realize how our ignorance and/or inaction doesn’t help any of us. And we can all help in small ways. Small steps together can create monumental change.
Please inform yourselves about these torturous, unjust, and unfathomable practices around the world.
